BJ (by the way, it stands for Belinda Joan) hails from Adelaide and is – according to at least one source – one of the most versatile performers in Australia. Born in captivity, she was taught at an early age by her mother that show business is 85% perspiration and 15% agent’s fees.

Her creative career has spanned performing, directing, writing, and arts marketing – but it’s in radio that BJ truly found her groove. Her broadcasting experience is extensive. Heart FM London, Gold 101.7 Sydney, and 2DU Dubbo are just some of the many stations she has… listened to.

These days, five mornings a week, LAFM locks her in a small room and lets her loose on the airwaves. Alone in the studio, BJ adopts the confident tone of a globe-trotting bon vivant whose worldly escapades colour her conversations with engaging guests (all of them imagined). If only it were true…

Despite her fondness for black clothes and her forever-shedding rescue cat Lola, BJ turns up bright and early – ready to spin tunes, share stories, and bring a bit of cheek and charm to your mornings.
