Authorities are appealing for more information and dashcam footage, as investigations continue into a serious crash which claimed the lives of three people, and left two others in a critical condition on Friday.
The two vehicle crash occurred on the Bass Highway, east of the Gannons Hill Road intersection at Elizabeth Town.
Police have since confirmed two of the victims were 19-year-old women from Devonport, while the third was a 51-year-old man from Wynyard.
While two men, aged in their forties, remain at the Royal Hobart Hospital in a critical condition.
“Our thoughts and condolences remain with everyone affected by this crash,” A Tasmania Police spokesperson said on Sunday.
