Tasmania Police has put a call out to the public for information, after a woman’s body was found at a home at New Town in Hobart at the weekend.
Detectives believe the woman, aged in her 60s, had been dead for weeks before her body was discovered on Saturday afternoon.
A 56 year-old man has since been charged with her murder.
Authorities now have permission from the woman’s family to release images from when she was last seen publicly on the 18th of March, as they work to put together a timeline of her final movements.


Detective Inspector David Gill says police believe the woman woman regularly attended the Glenorchy CBD and New Town areas, asking those who’ve seen, assisted, or had interactions with her, to get in touch.
