Tigers legend Jack Riewoldt is being tasked with coming up with the “DNA” of Tasmania’s AFL team.

The recently-retired Riewoldt will head up an extensive consultation project known as The Fabric, aimed at building the team’s culture.

“The Fabric will represent each and every strand that makes up the rich tapestry of our Club, who we are, what we stand for, what we believe in, our history and our collective vision for the future,” he said.

“These include the establishment of a business plan, the timing of executive appointments, playing a role in the delivery of the required infrastructure including the roofed stadium at Macquarie Point and the Training & Administration facility, fan engagement and involvement, and the establishment of formal committees and working groups.”
