She's a woman of few words but world No.35 Camila Giorgi is letting her tennis do the talking at the Hobart International where she has progressed to the quarter-finals.
The Italian today defeated Japan's Nao Hibino 6-2 6-3 and was rarely challenged as she sailed through in just 70 minutes, her powerful serve and blasting forehand doing the trick.
"It was a good match, that helps and let's think about the next one," Giorgi said in her heavy accent.
Ahead of the Australian Open, the 24-year-old said she is trying to rack up as many wins as possible.
At Melbourne Park last year Giorgi progressed to the third round, including a three-set win over fellow Italian and then-world No.12 Flavia Pennetta, before being defeated by Venus Williams.
She faces a tough battle on Wednesday when she meets Slovakian world No.37 Dominika Cibulkova.
