Reclaims rallies across nation

There were plenty of police on hand for yesterday's noisy but otherwise uneventful Reclaim Australia rally in Hobart.

Around 20 anti-Islamic campaigners marched from Franklin Square to the ABC, protesting the public broadcaster's alleged left-wing bias.

The group was well outnumbered by counter protesters and police, who made no arrests while keeping the rival groups separate.

Hundreds of anti-Islam and anti-racism protesters rallied against each other in aggressive demonstrations interstate.

Five people were arrested in Sydney yesterday, a day after violent clashes in Melbourne.
