Woman dies in Greens Beach crash

Tasmania's road toll climbs once again, following a crash in the state's north.

Police were called to Greens Beach Road at around 7:55am this morning after a single vehicle crash about 5km out of Greens Beach.

Sadly, a woman was found deceased inside the vehicle.

At this stage, it's believed the crash occurred overnight.

An investigation is underway and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.

Greens Beach Road has since been reopened.
