925 new Coronavirus cases for Tasmania
Tasmania's Coronavirus numbers have eased slightly today.
925 new infections have been recorded overnight, compared to 1,118 new cases yesterday, and 1,058 the day before.
541 people are being monitored under the [email protected] program, four people are being cared for at a Community Case Management Facility.
Hospitalisations have remained steady, 43 people now in hospital with Covid-19.
Of those, 20 patients are being treated specifically for Coronavirus symptoms.
One person is being cared for in the ICU.
Public Health is now monitoring 6,058 active cases across the state.
Vaccination rates are rising slowly, with over half of all kids aged 5-11 years old now fully vaccinated.
63.74% of children in the age group have received their first Covid jab.
Over 70% of Tasmanians 16 years and older have received their first booster.
That figure sits at over 85% for locals over 50 years old.
