Border opening support
A report claims the majority of Tasmanians approve of the border opening.
Research outfit EMRS has released a community survey initiated by the state's hospitality and gambling heavyweight, the Federal Group.
It states that when the survey wrapped up in early October, 66% of Tasmanians asked were in favour of travel resuming with locations clear of community transfer of coronavirus ahead of the originally set date of December 1st.
Other figures include 26% had been tested for the virus and 70% will attend live performances as frequently as they did pre-COVID, while another 9% expect to attend gigs more frequently.
