First outlaw bikie colours charge

A 21 year old man has become the first person in Tasmania charged under laws banning the wearing of outlawed motorcycle gang insignia.
He was caught in Devonport late last night allegedly wearing clothing identifying him as a Bandidos member.
Tough anti-bikie measures, introduced by the state government, passed parliament in September 2018 and prevent people from wearing Bandidos, Outlaws, Devils Henchman and Rebels insignia.
The man was granted bail and will appear in Devonport Magistrates Court in March.
