Patersonia Outdoor playgroup 
Where: Windsor Community Gardens, Windsor Drive, Riverside (At the end of the road behind Reserves Depot)
When: Every Friday morning at 9:30am - 11:30am
Details: The aim of the playgroup is to be outdoors exploring and learning as nature intended. We are members of Windsor Community Garden where we can dig and plant, grow and enjoy the fruits of our labour. We can also access the grounds around the Windsor Precinct for further exploration. Free range outdoor play, planting, weeding, water and dirt play!
Warm clothes, boots and gardening stuff may be useful. Super hero outfits are optional.
As a new playgroup, we will be able to discuss what activities we wish to do together.

Fresh Comedy with Claire Hooper

Music and the Brain- Dr. Imogen Clarke
Where: 93 York St, Launceston
When: Saturday, 23rd September at 10:00am – 2:00pm
Details: INSPIRING AUSTRLIA welcomes the public to Music & Our Brain forum, hosted by the Australian Music Therapy Association with Dr Imogen Clark (PhD, PGradDip-MusThrp, DipAppSci-Nursing) post-doctoral research fellow and lecturer at the University of Melbourne, and registered music therapist at Austin Health. Her primary research interest focusses on music therapy for older adults and people with neuro-degenerative disease. Imogen has coordinated various research projects including experimental trials, systematic reviews, psychometric testing, and qualitative thematic analysis, and has published in peer reviewed music therapy, medical, and allied health journals. As a post-doctoral researcher, Imogen is investigating group singing to improve well-being and connection between community dwelling older adults with dementia and their primary care givers.

Northern Clothes Market - September
Where: St. Ailbie's Hall, 46 Margaret St, Launceston

Details: We are a POP-UP fashion market, with stalls filled with great quality pre-loved, handmade, vintage, up-cycled and brand-new ladies and mens clothing and accessories. Sizes from petite to plus and everything in between.

When: Saturday, 23rd – Sunday, 24th September. The gates open at 8:00 am each day until 4:00pm.
Details: Come along and try your luck to catch one of the tagged rainbow trout to win one of many fantastic prizes the one to catch is Timmy the tagged Trout to win a whopping $10,000. It's a fun family day bring your lunch and have a picnic or buy your lunch from the food stalls.

DGR 2017 - Launceston

Details: Launceston is officially taking part in the world's largest charitable motorcycle event for owners of classic and vintage styled bikes. 
The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride brings together over 70,000 well-dressed gentlefolk in 600+ cities on stunning motorcycles for men's health across 95 countries. The goal for 2017 is to raise awareness and $5m for prostate cancer and men’s mental health on behalf of charity partner the Movember Foundation.
