The ripple affect of the Coronavirus is being felt across various industries

There’s no doubt the coronavirus outbreak is spreading, more than 80,000 people have now been diagnosed, 3000 people have been killed and now where being told that the outbreak may becomes a pandemic. Although the coronavirus has been contained in Australia, the ripple affect is being felt across various industries.

Hospitality have seen a 50 percent decrease in trading. Some Chinese food traders have seen a 90 percent decrease.

Retail have seen a 70 percent decrease in trading. This is Partly because some department stores can’t get stock from China and also because we’ve seen a decrease in Tourism.

Now if the outbreak becomes severe in Australia we could see schools and workplaces closed, large gatherings like footy games could be cancelled and we would also see a change in the way our hospitals operate.
